Seven Skills to Build Resilience
Step into 2025 with strength, balance, and possibility
Description
Join Kathy for a 2.5-hour class to learn 7 key skills to reduce stress and build resilience. Learn trauma-informed movement practices and breathwork that support nervous system balancing. These skills build a stable foundation for navigating life’s challenges with greater emotional balance, clarity, and confidence, allowing you to learn how to thrive in relationships, work, and personal growth. As this new year begins, it’s understandable to feel overwhelmed by stress, faced with uncertainty and a sense of instability in leadership and daily life. Others may feel stuck in patterns that drain their energy. This class, rooted in polyvagal theory, goes beyond simple relaxation—it helps regulate your nervous system so you can redirect your energy toward what truly matters in your life. Unlike trendy wellness approaches that provide situational relief, these practices work because they’re grounded in the science of emotion regulation and how to sustainably shift from distressed states and reactivity to a more steady, grounded presence. You will feel more connected, centered, and revitalized. Start the year by building real, lasting resilience so you can show up for your goals and important relationships with more ease and clarity. This class is offered four times in January. +Wednesday, Jan. 8, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm Eastern +Thursday, Jan. 9, 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm Eastern +Thursday, Jan. 16, 7:00-pm - 9:30 pm Eastern +Tuesday, Jan. 21, 8:30 am - 11:00 am Eastern Select your fee at checkout. Class is $30 per person. If you bring a friend (accountability buddy), the fee is $50 for two people. Add the second person's name and email address to the Message field at checkout. Participants get access to practice-along videos so they can master the skills in their own time. Participants also receive an original musical recording to support a consistent, calming optimal breathing practice. Give yourself the gift of stillness, heal from stress and burnout, resolve aches and pains, get a good night's sleep, reduce emotional reactivity, and bring more vitality to daily life. Kathy also works with groups. If you'd like to discuss hosting a Zoom workshop (or in person if you live in the Washington, D.C. and Frederick / Baltimore areas) for your friends, family members, or team, send an email to Kathy, and we will schedule a call, connect@KathyJankowski.com.
